Foundation 2 Change Secures 3-Year Fairer Futures Funding

In September 2025, we’re delighted to announce that Foundation 2 Change has been awarded three years of funding through the Fairer Futures Fund, supported by the Heart of England Community Foundation and Birmingham City Council.

This funding means we can continue delivering our lived-experience rehabilitation model, working both in prison and the community to tackle the root causes of addiction and offending. Our aim is simple: to help people break destructive cycles and move towards lasting recovery, independence, and brighter futures.

As part of this work, we’ve teamed up with the Hepatitis C Trust to provide blood-borne virus testing — ensuring that essential healthcare sits alongside rehabilitation and recovery support. By doing so, we’re addressing the wider health needs of those we work with while reducing risks and promoting healthier communities.

With this investment, we’ll be strengthening access to housing, healthcare, and employment pathways — building continuity of care where it’s needed most.

A huge thank you to the Heart of England Community Foundation and Birmingham City Council for believing in our vision and supporting safer, stronger, and healthier communities. 💙
